054/ My favourite music on small screens
My fourth and final ‘best of 2024’ category is ‘music on small screens’, because, well, I watch a load of music onscreen. It’s usually where I discover things and I guess it’s how most people consume most music today.
For this list I’ve excluded commercial music videos. Anyway, my favourite pop videos of the year were all for songs that already showed up on my ‘song obsessions’ list, so it’s moot. Perhaps next year I’ll remember to build a separate category for pop vids. The full list ended up being 122 things that I loved, here’s my favourite 25.
